I don’t know what dream. Your dream, what ever it is or was.
Who’s living it?
Who’s settled?
If settled, when/how’d that happen.
Curious.

If you consider my constant state of ‘daze’ then I’m in a dream as we speak.
Settled? Far from it. I dream so big that sometimes I defeat myself.
I had settled once before.
I was 27 and thought that the curtain falls at 30, that I’m running out of time to get the life that I thought I was supposed to have. So I settled for something that seemed like the perfect deal, to most people. It took me years to realize it wasn’t my dream.
Now I’m 34 and life has never been better. Ironically, that feeling of running out of time I had in my 20s is not only gone, but seems pretty rediculous now. I’m far from having everything I want in life, but I now know what I want and I know how to get it. And even the things that I don’t know yet, I’m looking forward to finding them out.
Now I’m living the dream.
PS Perhaps you should have this thread moved to Open? Living in Taiwan forum and title “Living the dream” is a combination that might keep some people away

Life is a series of ups and downs.
The trick is make each down just a little bit higher than the last one.
Illegitimati non carborundum!
If you’ve got someone you love who loves you back, you’re living the dream.
Having someone who love you front helps too! ![]()
dont forget guys, life is not a destination. its ALL about the JOURNEY and they say that LIFE is what happens to you while you are planning something else
for certain one day you were born and for certain one day you will die
what you do in the meantime is all important
ideally, living the dream and settling should be one and the same,no?
I’m heading towards those 2 points simultaneously, never been that close before.
I just have so much I still want to do. It sometimes feels like there isn’t enough hours in the day, and it would help some if I didn’t need to sleep.
I’m pretty much in the place where I want to be, but there are some modifications I’d like to make.
I’ll be living the dream when I can make money by working on my own without a boss, whenever I want, and wherever I want, preferably behind a laptop at a coffee place after a morning walk along the river.
Amen to that. :bravo:
