From reading this thread as well as the thread about personal loans (which is not tagged under ‘loan’ for some reason) it sounds like it is not very common to get a non-guaranteed personal loan.
Has anyone had success applying for a personal loan recently? I had a good experience getting a credit card at Esun so I took a look at their site for personal loans as well as Standard Chartered, but both are vague in their wording. For example, for required documents both say something along the lines of “需要的文件：身份證及財力證明”, I can’t find anything specific to foreign residents or ARCs. I’m aware that I’ll probably have to fight through bureaucracy regardless, but I’m trying to save myself from making a useless appointment if it’s impossible to begin with.
