There was a great japanese BBQ a block or so off Nanjing E Rd (right around the “first hotel” area. About a 10 minute walk east from my old office on the corner of YiTung and Nanjing.

It was in an old Japanese house and had all you can drink draft beer for 150 NT plus great BBQ outside. been 3 years, but it was a great place, wonder if it is still there.

Never heard of Long Life BBQ. Where is it?

For Japanese buffet (general Japanese fare, not BBQ), the best in my book is Shin Yeh at 52 Zhong Shan N. Rd. Sec. 2, across from the Ambassador Hotel (2542-5858). Go hungry and pig out. :smiley:

Long Life BBQ is a chain-restaurant, I just found their website, it is llbbq.com.tw
It appears to be a Korean BBQ / Japanese BBQ place, buffet style…
