Does anyone in Taiwan longboard skateboard. I am talking about bombing hills. Old school pool riding, carving, ditch riding, etc…
Anybody know of any good roads for carving and bombing on a longboard? There has to be some nicely paved smooth traffic free roads somewhere in the mountains or foothills.
and wear a helmet. please wear a helmet.
My brother fell off this longboard last year and was in a coma with a traumatic brain injury for almost a month. Life’s not too fun after that.

Yup always wear the brain bucket especially if I am going big. I have been known to not wear it if I am going on a short run to the store or something. Stupid I know but I am lazy or just don’t feel like it. :loco:.
There’s a skateboard park on Min Tzu East Road, near Yuanshan MRT and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum. It’s pretty cool looking, and I’ve always wanted to skate there, but I haven’t got a skateboard. I left mine in the USA six years ago.

Thats a great looking skate park. It looks really well designed.
The one in Tainan is good, not great, but good. It is very large so it has room to expand if they want to. There is also a smaller one next to the main one. But I don’t think its used very often.
Sweet, thanks everyone, twoc that park looks super nice. I like runs, ditches, downhill, never been much of a street skater. I like finding lines and hitting them kind of like surfing.
