Living in Taipei, travelling and stress has had some influence on my skin lately. I’d like to get a nice facial cleaning, but where? Anybody knows a place to get a western standard facial cleaning? Dongqu, close to 101, not too expensive is prefered. Thanks
Oh lord, what a title. I look at too many porn sites.
I’m pretty sure there are places around the Warner Village place. What’s that building next to WV? Is it called Neo 19 or something (where Chili’s is)? It has a women’s spa but it looks expensive. Also, the Aveda shop in WV I think does facials. How do I know all this? I have no idea.

:bravo:
The place my wife used to work, and her two best friends still do work, is just up the road from you. I’ll get the details for you. They’re really nice.

OK, I’m going to change the title eventhough I have no idea what is wrong with it. Have some patience please with us non-native English speakers…and maybe somebody can explain what is wrong with “I need a facial…”?
Mesheel, in Shilin by the roadside near the MRT there are a group of women who remove dead skin and hair using strings strung between their fingers.
Facial=Japanese bukake.
Alleycat, I’d love to try that out once. But I’m afraid as a foreign girl sitting at the road side having my face cleaned by some Taiwanese obasan, I will definately attract too much attention.
I heard there are obasans doing “wanlian” at your home, but I’ve never found one. Anybody knows?
BTW, bukake? My Japanese sucks. Can you explain again, pls.
Thanks Brian, I will call them.

My sister-in-law (she is not an obisan
) does them.
Ok here goes on the bukake thing…erm you know when you … I can’t do it.
OK, thanks for the many pms explaining what was wrong with my previous title. I got it now and will never make this mistake again…=)
I guess this is why nobody in the “Womens Forum” answered my post…uupppsss…
Alleycat, does your sister-in-law do it professionally and go to peoples homes? If so, I’d be interested in a try…=) and I mean “wanlian” for all of you sick minds out there.

Stage fright, eh? Don’t worry, happens to the best of us. What you need is a fluffer.
Nah Mesheel… wasn’t your fault. How were you to know the type of company you were keeping here on Forumosa? Does your significant other know? ![]()
Promise, it all stays r-i-g-h-t h-e-r-e ![]()
And what particularly wrong about a building covered in glittering metal, with 20 or so spinning, flashing barber poles, and a taxi queue outside at 2 am in the morning.
Well if you do get your facial at this type of place, please provide picture, or at the very least a 200 word exposition.
