We are lookin for a school for our niece,
It Must be in Neihu.
It must use Way Ahead.
It must be Foreign Operated.
Anyone know of such a school

Im not sure about the “way ahead” series, but there are several foreign run schools in Neihu. The best I’ve seen is Lakeside International School, or Oxford American school. Both are foreign run. Message me privately and i can tell you which schools to stay away from.
I wouldn’t suggest working for Taipei Oxford American. Oxford incidently is in Donghu, which is in Neihu but most people don’t think of Dong Hu when they think of Neihu.
Happy Marian seems fairly easy going. Kojen, on the Kangning road / Chenggong Road roundabout (within spitting distance of Happy Marian) is also ok. I believe Kojen use Way Ahead for some courses, but it isn’t their main book. Isn’t Way Ahead an adult book? Kojen do a lot of adult classes.
Why does it have to be foreign owned? Does your niece want to be teacher or is she going as a student? Am I on the wrong board?

You’re quick to start phiffing and phaffing about schools. I’m sorry that my post led to confusion.
Anyways, It seems that 90% of their teachers are back again so it can’t be that bad.

I believe that M.I.T. and ACES are both good schools, but ACES is in Donghu. They’re both foreign owned.
Actually, Donghu is in Neihu. Most people who have bothered to look at a map can clearly see that Dongu (as well as Dazhi) is a subdivision of Neihu District. 
Lakeside has real, qualified teachers from the USA and Canada. Oxford American School should be re-named as Oxford “South African” School. Both use a similar curriculum, as the lady from Lakeside “got her ideas” from Oxford, along with some of thier students.

Why’s it called Oxford American anyway? Oxford isn’t in America, and it sounds almost as idiotic as “Ruth’s Chris” steak houses.
Your right in both arguments! However, just watch out for some buxibans in Neihu. I’ve seen Polish, Italians, Czech, and a few other asundry nationalities posing as “native speakers.” In some well known buxibans too! Make sure to see the buxiban’s files or meet your teacher before you commit. You don’t want your child coming home and saying “umbrella” with a rolling “r!” Believe me! I’ve seen it!
If you look you can see that I wrote Donghu is in Neihu. What I meant was that there is some separation between what most people refer to Neihu and Donghu. If you were downtown and told a taxi driver you wanted to go to Neihu (when you wanted to go to Donghu) you would likely end up going out of your way.
