Looking for bulk powdered "Pocari Sweat" or "SuperSupau" mix

Anyone know if or where I can obtain a bulk can of the mix powder for electrolyte drinks? I’d prefer Pocari Sweat, but Super Supau would do.

I’m NOT looking for the little packets. They are ridiculously overpriced compared to the bottled drinks – a four-packet box, each packet making 200ml (so a total of 800ml) costs more than a 1.25L bottle of the stuff.

Do they sell the mix in large (one-pound, one-kilo, five-pound) cans?

If it is unavailable in this form, does anyone know where I can get food-grade salts and sugar powder? After all, all these drinks are made of are three or four different salts and one simple sugar (probably glucose, but maybe galactose or fructose). Anyone have some recipes? :slight_smile:

Perhaps you might try a hospital supplier. Diocalm used to be available in bulk, and it’s basically the same thing (an electrolyte and salt drink).

You going to mix that with tapwater?

Not exactly, there’s a water purifier where I’m staying now.
