Hi, I’m new to the forum (and to Taipei) and don’t know if this is a good spot to post this, but if not, just let me know. I’m interested in martial arts and am looking for a video of Zhang Jun Feng (Chang Chun-Feng) (1957) training with his students. There are some clips of it on U Tube, but I heard the video itself was being sold somewhere in Taipei. Zhang Jun Feng was invited to Taiwan by Chiang Kai-Shek to teach him martial arts. I believe he also taught some other prominent Taiwanese figures. If you’ve ever heard of this video or could even just point me in the direction of a video store (or elsewhere) that might sell it, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
Wow, you’re really in the wrong forum. I might have seen this in sports.
The video that you’re referring to IS NOT available in any store here in Taipei, or anywhere else for that matter. It was shot privately and all of it (as far as I know) is available on youtube. Ken Fish, who teaches Zhang’s xingyi and bagua in Maryland has one of the few copies of the tape. That’s the source for all that you see on the Internet.
BTW, Zhang wasn’t invited here by Chiang. He was doing business here and decided to stay considering what was happening on the mainland.

I came here to study Zhang Zhun-feng’s arts seven years ago and I’m still here. Happy training.
