read through the “reasons you love Taiwan” posts, agreed to quite some views, disagreed with a lot and was stunned by a statement “in Taiwan you find more love than in other countries”.
I’m 9 years in Taiwan and married to a lovely Taiwanese lady and have been to different places on the island and in the world as well, I think I have enough experience to dispute the idea of “more love” here.
Many things, which make my life difficult and plague the wellness of the people here, have to do with other human attributes. I see a tremendous amount of ignorance and selfishness, which is dominant in any moment in life as long as you find yourself in a non-personal-contact-situation.
