After reading this post, I am really scared, I will be in Taipei around late august and its seem that my love life would be reduce to zero. I am not African American, I am from Latin America, but I got a lighter skin black colour.
How are latin American girls perceive in Taiwan, specially Taipei?

muchas gracias, estaba leyendo tus post y queria contestarte⦠The thing is I was reading the post about black girls datin in Taiwan and a lot og people mentioned the fascination they haver for white⦠and it got me thinkingā¦
Latin American girls are sssssmokin hot! Iām totally jealous of your beautiful naturally tanned skin and fabulous, banging bodies (not like these malnourished, weak, skinny girls here). Girl, youāll have no problem finding men!!
I have a light & clever idea for you. You should see some teen boys that only can be found in college. You can go to college to have a small course. I think, teens can be mixed each other very easily, as most has open mind.
From Fu Jen in Xinzhuang, up to Sun Yat-sen in Tainan. Most people bunch up in Shida for the first year of Chinese -wrong, wrong move! no lo hagan! se arrepentiran!- though.
Name a school close to you and Iāll tell you if there are latinas there. Language exchange, good start.

Hi girl,
Donāt tell me that, I already enrolled at NTNU for my first year of Chinesse. Why do you say is going to be tought?
De veras me voy arrepentir???
What part of S. America are you from if you donāt mind me asking. I just went to the Andes, Chile, and Argentina. the Uruguayans and Argentinians were smoking.
I think generally, if you look lighter skin, they will just treat you like any other white foreigner. If youāre āblackā looking, then treated like youāre African or Black American. This is a generalisation, but itās not surprising since exposure to the outside world is limited (after all, weāre in a society that thinks Hitler was a good thing for Germany).

Bit Off Topic but necessary:

Personally, in the 3 years Iāve lived in Taiwan, Iāve never dated a Taiwanese man. Maybe because I am not actively looking to, or because the males I interact with are too innocent and see me as a friend only, but all the men Iāve dated or been in a relationship with have been foreigners.
On a side note, I loved my year in Shida (NTNU) soo much, and I learned soo much. I loved loved loved it⦠and sometimes I go back there to the Night Market just because it brings me great memories.
