Not usually, especially if you’re driving. If walkup, they might be a combination love motel/regular hotel, and might ask for some ID. But the full-on no question love hotels, no.
I would imagine that would be bad for business.
Lots of affairs going on, celebs that would rather not be outed, etc.
A prostitute costs that and even more, so it’s not a bad deal after all.

Some do some don’t. As tango42 said, those who do seem to be the ones with aspirations of being a proper hotel, ie., very few.
If you think about it, the love motels should be the ones with long-term rates.
You do realize that there are no beds in the park, right? Even God paid a few shekels for a short-time room when he was squiring the virgin Mary.

A few years ago somebody (male) on Forumosa reported having sex with some (female) rando in one of the restrooms of the Da’an Park. Stay classy!
