MA program in Taiwan

I arrived in Taiwan 3 years ago and undertook 1 year of masters courses in Taiwan. For various reasons i decided not to complete the degree but would still like to show that i have obtained the knowledge in the field of Applied Linguistics/TESOL. I am currently undertaking a new masters program in international education and might be able to get some of the credits to transfer towards this degree.
Is there a way obtain something like a TESOL certificate based on previous knowledge?
Can I possibly complete a TESOL certificate in a faster / cheaper way due to my previous studies and the time and money i have already invested in them?
Should I just start a new program and complete it with some ease since i already know some of the material?

I don’t think you can. If you do a DELTA it counts for a couple of credits towards your master’s. It doesn’t operate the other way round, AFAIK.

Seems like if i can get an online certificate from University California San Diego, they will honor some transfer credits so i will go that route. Anyone ever done this program?
