Macau v Vegas What do you prefer?

With little in between. Oh and the drive looks like this for hours on end.

well, when I went to Vegas, I went to a stripe club for the first time in my life, so there were fond memories… although I might had a bit more fun when I left my college friends for this…

beat that, Macau…[/quote]

What’s that?

The bridge of the USS Enterprise-D, if I’m not mistaken.

BTW, hansioux, I’ve probably only seen 5 episodes of Next Generation and 10 episodes of anything Star Trek in total. I’m just such a nerd that I learn this stuff through osmosis.

Hobson’s choice.

yeah, it’s kind of sad that the set now looks like the interior of a Camry from the 90s.

I remember going to the Star Trek Experience atraction at the LV Hilton in the early 2000s and eating at their “Quark’s Grill”. The “frozen gagh” dish was gummy worms in chocolate ice cream. Kitschy but we had fun.

What are the minimum bets for black jack, roulette and slot machines in Macau casinos?

Been to both. Love both. Just know when to quit.

Actually flying to Macau with my family in a few short days. My wife put a cap on my gambling, about 5,000 NTD. Definitely different from when I was single in my 20s and would blow two grand US in Vegas.

5k ntd is going to get you like 2-4 bets from what I have been reading online.

Or do you sit at slots for 9 hours to make 2000ntd?

Is that just gambling or hotel/hookers/booze/drugs included?

World Series of Poker is going on in Vegas now, not sure I’d visit in the summer unless I’m playing in the tourney.

I like poker, anybody else? If you’ve played poker in both places, do you have an opinion about which city has more poker cheats?

Just gambling, maybe drinks. I’m a good boy.

I’ve been to Macau before but not gambled. Is there decent Texas hold 'em action? I’m pretty sure there will be, but couldn’t find much on Google.

I’ve seen a few youtube clips from a club called Triton in Macau, where high stakes tournament and cash games indeed take place.

I think there is very good poker action there, and not just hold 'em games.

Dwan going all in with AQ off pre-flop, million bucks?

I can’t tell if you’re having me on, so I’ll let you judge for yourself.

It’s the lengthy think-up that makes it.

ANYWAYS I didn’t dig up a 4 year old post for nothing.

What are minimum bets these days? HK$100, HK$300 or HK$500 at tables??
