@ranlee , i would be interested in your opinion about biking in these areas too.
I remember ten years ago a friend of mine kept going on and on and on about how great the bike paths in Keelung were, and how short a commute it was to taipei city.
i know that the national parks have awesome road bike roads (some of them)
but i have never been that far up north.
Im trying to organize myself to explore the area the last week of next month (april).
taking advantage of my trip to the AMPA convention to show my father (who will be visiting) some of northern taiwan before we come back down south to the fam.
