Malaysia

I’m in Malaysia now, will report back .
So far worst things that have happened are indigestion from tandoori chicken and sticker shock at the beer prices.
One of the main reasons I go to Malaysia is for the wildlife which is pretty exceptional.

Great wildlife but I guess atheists aren’t allowed.

Wait, what if all the animals are atheists?

Malaysia fans: KK or Kuching?

Any thoughts?

Guy

I like KK for a few days to get some food and do some light touring before moving on. Easy to get to. If you want to check out more of Sabah after, or catch a cheap flight elsewhere, it makes sense. Never went to Kuching, but it looks great, seems like a more compact area to explore. Sabah you’re driving hours through palm oil trees to get anywhere. How would you get to Kuching?

From KK? By bicycle.

If using it as a port of entry? By airplane. :slightly_smiling_face:

Direct from Taipei?

No nonstops but using Google Flights I can see a range of carriers who could, uh, carry me there.

If you can go through KK, maybe do both!

Right: fly into one, flight out of the other.

Have any forumosans attempted this? Any thoughts?
