Marmite

Anyone know where I can get Marmite in Taipei. I tried Jason’s but they only had that aussie muck, Vegimite :noway:

I’m pretty sure G&G/Willie’s in Tianmu has both consistently. As an American I don’t understand the appeal of either the Brit or Aussie version, but I see both all the time.

Carrefour’s import section is always a craps shoot in terms of what they have in stock.

Get two pieces of sliced bread, put them in the toaster. After being well toasted spread a small amount of butter followed with a generous spreading of Marmite.
Make sure you also sip on some nice Earl Grey tea with milk no sugar.
It is an acquired taste.

I’ve passed Willie’s several times but I’ve never actually walked in. I definitely will check out this place next time. Thanks for the information

where is G&G Willies?

Yep, I was there just the other day and they had both, as always. Don’t know the price.

I bought it once at Citysuper

Unfortunately, it is easier to find Marmite than decent Earl grey tea here.

I know the put synthetic Bergamot in it here (Bergamot flavoring ) , not actual Bergamot.

And imports ain’t reliable/tasty. I have tried iHerb too.

Better discuss this elsewhere.

ok (I should have said oil of Bergamot).I will discuss elsewhere.
