Marriage with Taiwanese in Europe: No Impediment to marry

Hi,
me and my taiwanese girlfriend are planning to get married In Prague this year, but we have a certain problem with the “No Impediment to marry” document which she needs.
The TW police dept. was only capable of issuing a ‘household registration’ to her, but this is not sufficient to the czech authorities, since the household registration does not specifically says that she is not married (only shows a blank space at the spouse name column) and there is no note that there is ‘no impediment for her to marry’. :noway:

Where could she get that certification in Taiwan?

Did you already ask the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Prague? They should be able to help you.

I am just trying them… they already told me that its not always so easy, but unfortuantely the person, who might know a bit more about it, was out today – so next try tomorrow then.
