There are way more charcoal based suicides in Taiwan, and charcoal is easily available in the UK.

I walked into a recently vacated apartment looking to rent it once.
There was a ring on the ground where it looked like a charcoal burner had been placed.
Didn’t rent it.

If you want to study the murder rates; the lower the tax and higher the income the lower the murder rate is.
At least they didn’t hurt anyone but themselves.
They did hurt other people. Not their fault, though.
Well at least not physically.
I’ve had friends who’ve killed themselves. Believe me, it hurts others. I’m not angry at them. But it still hurts. And hurts their family even more.
The main one was. But the nature of the internet basically makes it impossible to shut all of it down. Nor do I think it’s really a great solution driving them deeper underground and give them more cause to revolt.

The internet is enabling troubled souls to feed off one another. I appreciate that Jordan Peterson is persona non grata in some quarters, but people like him are doing a lot of good in pulling some of these guys back from the brink.
Closing down sites isn’t going to help.
