Massive explosion in Beirut

That’s a lot of explosions from ammonium nitrate

As Lebanese work to recover from the massive explosion that flattened Beirut in August, a fire broke out at the same port. Some speculate the fire was an effort to cover up evidence that caused the blast.

Nothing to see here. :whistle:

Oh terrific. Love a good cover-up

The scale of the disaster quickly became clear: over 200 killed and 6,000 injured. Within days, prime minister Hassan Diab tendered his resignation. But if some in Lebanon hoped the shocking disaster might fuel a wave of protests that would wash out the rot within the country, they were to be sorely disappointed. A year has passed, and the state of the country is only becoming more dire by the day. No one has been able to form a new government since Diab’s resignation, and the nation’s economic situation — already grim before the blast — has deteriorated to catastrophic.

PA = Palestinian Authority

Worth mentioning that new information has been released regarding a Chinese underground nuke test on June 22, 2020 which registered 2.75 magnitude on an earthquake monitoring station in Kazakhstan near China Lop Nur nuclear facility.

The Beruit explosion that followed in August 4, 2020 registered around 3.3 magnitude, and has been labeled the largest “non-nuclear” explosion ever recorded, allegedly.

Extremely suspicious circumstances

Are you suggesting that the Beirut explosion was what? Nuclear? A terror strike by China? What?

And even more suspiciously, why is this post tagged Taitung?

I think when they measure yields for nukes they’re measured based on radiation, pressure wave, and such. The Hiroshima bomb I think was reported to be 16 kilotons but that’s including all the thermal radiation that it released. Meaning if say thousands of tons of ammonium nitrate exploded, it would actually be worse because nearly all their energy is explosive energy. So say 16 kilotons of tnt exploding would do more damage.
