Master Sheng-yen passed away

Master Sheng-yen, the head of Dharma Drum Mountain (法鼓山), passed away today.

I don’t know much details. At the time the death was announced I was in seclusion concentrating on my research so I only learned about it on my way to the dinning hall. I saw a row of people lining up the path to Master Sheng-yen’s residence, hands folded and looking darn serious. I thought “uh oh, Master Sheng-yen has passed away.” That was confirmed as soon as I was able to talk to someone.

I’ve updated it with what I know so far. For instance, I’m not clear with the location of his passing since he was at a hospital but I don’t know which. (Probably 台大 but I’m not sure.)
