I am thinking of pursuing a masters degree in Taiwan for one year. If I join a master program do I get an ARC? My current ARC expires in 6 months.
Yes, but iirc, you should get a resident visa for that somewhere out of Taiwan usually, and now they suspend usual visa service. You could ask at BOCA if you can convert your current ARC to the new ARC within Taiwan. in 6 months, situation may be different, though.
