Would love to try the new ferry service:

High-speed South-North Star ferry, which shortens the voyage between Taiwan and Matsu to only three hours. Taima and Taima Star, the other two ferries that have long been plying the crossing, take nine to 10 hours one way. The lighthouse on Dongyin is really pretty. I also like the tunnel experiences.

Next time I want to walk the Luoshan Nature Trail on Beigan Island, visit the deers on Daqiu Island, and check out Xiju (last time we only made it to Dongju, where we stayed in a nice old-house homestay).
