We were near dead storage in 2002 at both Feicui and Shimen. Dead storage is when they have to pump the water out.
When we got a small June typhoon which brought lots of rain, the stock market rose a fair bit.
This was due to the fact taht a lots of the electronics industry needs a lot of water. No water, is a disaster.
Not a murmur this year, and honestly no worries, water shortages here are always in the spring and early summer, so I think we are through for this year, given that Shimen is at 56% capacity and the first typhoons are weeks away.
