Medical care in Taiwan vs the mainland?

I have been living and working in mainland China for the past five years, and almost all of my experiences with the medical system here have been terrible.
I am thinking of visiting Taiwan for a week or two this Summer, and would like to take care of a few medical needs while I am there.

How are the dentists and hospitals in Taiwan ? Any recommendations ?
Anyone with experience in both China and Taiwan have any opinions to share ?

Thanks !

Night(mare) and day. High quality, friendly, and inexpensive treatment here. A few quacks as in any system but overall excellent. It’s particularly good if you need to see an expert. Little waiting though you don’t get the follow up as in the west.

Thanks for the reply.
I am specifically looking for a good dentist, and an ENT (ear, nose, and throat) specialist.
I have read the thread about dentists.
Can anyone recommend a good ENT ?

We don’t know what’s your problem…in a medical center, the indications for ENT include oral cancer, COM(chronic otitis media), hoarseness, sudden deaf, snore, tonsillitis…blah blah blah…
and which city do you live…
