Hi, I really hope someone can help me with this question, since I can imagine spending hours trying to find a phone number in Canada for someone to help me with this.
I’m confused about health coverage if I’ve been living away from Canada for 2 years. I am finishing up in Taiwan this month, and then will travel China for 5 months. I need to buy medical insurance, but I’m not sure how to go about doing that- do I buy it from a company in Canada or Taiwan, or what? I won’t have my health plan through Taiwan anymore while I’m traveling, as I’m sure it will be cancelled.
I also don’t know if I’m covered in Canada when I return home. A bit confusing, but maybe I just havent looked in the right places so far. Any answers are much appreciated, thanks!
