Meditation & Relaxation
Since 2001, Thierry Cuvillier has practiced Vipassana one of India’s most ancient techniques of meditation. After years of practice and several 10-days Vipassana retreats in India and Taiwan, Thierry has decided to share his experience and help those who want to improve their quality of life through meditation. The benefits of meditation are many, but a regular practice is required to really improve our quality of life.
Meditation & Relaxation is a course specially adapted for those who want to learn how to meditate and relax easily. This course will teach Anapanasati Meditation [mindfulness of breathing], which is the part that precedes the traditional teaching of Vipassana*.
This ancient meditation practice can help you overcome stress and anxieties, help relieve tension and calm the mind, helping you to become more relaxed and focused, so that you can respond to life with more clarity and equanimity. 1 / Breathing exercises and gentle warm up to prepare the body and mind for meditation
2 / Meditation: sitting position and practice of Anapana [duration 30 ~ 40min]
3 / Relaxation: lengthening position [Savasana pose]; the whole body is relaxed on the floor with an awareness of the breath and sensations in the body.

*Note: Vipassana will not be taught in this course - only Anapana meditation. For Vipassana practitioners, a free meditation/group sitting will be open once a month on Sunday, 8:30am ~ 12:30pm – [for details please contact the teacher]
