Michale Moore's Slacker Uprising

Having some trouble getting ahold of this film. It is free for folks in the US and Canada and the torrents claim the shared file is incomplete. I am downloading it now and once I see for myself if the file is complete, I’ll post a link here. Meanwhile, if anyone has a link for a verified complete file, please share.

Look forward to discussing this film and watching the redneck motherflobbers tripping all over themselves to discredit it.

More hate from the expat left. Ya, everyone who thinks Michael Moore is a liar and a fraud is a redneck mother flubber. And it’s people on the right who are the haters…sure

Well, there are two Americas. Redneck real americans and others. Which are you?

I think Moore has an excellent grasp of what makes Americans turn on and tune in. If it wasn’t for his TV genius most Americans would have forgotten all about subjects such as health coverage. Love him or hate him he has the presence that some politicians spend a life time trying to achieve, and some people may not like Moore for his style, but he certainly gets more people talking about issues than all the bet politicians in the land, and that in my book is a great thing, when most Americans only change the channel once something deeper, challenging and more thought provoking than an episode of friends comes on. He’s actually got people debating again! Good on you Mr. Moore.

Mr. Moore has always struck me as the left’s version of Rush Limbaugh.

Libertarian gun-toting rednecks are preferable to simpering, whimpering left-wing slackers. :beatnik:

A socialist medical-industrial complex is no substitute for good, wholesome, healthy living, independence and free enterprise.

Thanks anyway, but I am in Taiwan.

Watched it last night. Very self indulgent I thought. Look at me…I got more new voters out in 1 demographic than anyone else.

I think Moore is an important voice and the ire he raises is is far more shadenfreudically delectable than any reality TV show could ever hope to muster. But this film is at most, a historical documentary about what was and could have been. Sure, it warns us that complacency only serves the enemy, but if Fahrenheit 911 didn’t stir enough to overcome the cheating voting scandals, this “why bother” effort won’t.

I hope Stone’s movie is better.
