Hey everyone, know where we can rent a mini-bus, one that can comfortably seat about 18 people?
I’ve seen the rentals available but these are all for cars. We were thinking of hiring/renting a mini-bus, with the driver (none of us can drive something that big).
Thanks!
We’ve used this company since 2010 for numerous company trips. Good experiences, we’ll keep using them:
文境租車
2586-8995
They hire out small buses with drivers up to the full size tour mobiles with the karaoke disco balls and a poker table in them.
You’re probably going to need someone who speaks really good or native Chinese.
I don’t know where you live, but most city bus companies offer short term rentals, with drivers…we do some and usually the full day price is under $10000. If you are going on a bit of a tour, then you will have to pay for the driver’s accommodation.
Thanks for these tips!
We are from Taipei and we are planning a trip to sun moon lake. Since there are a lot of us, we thought getting a bus to drive us around would be better than going by public transpo.

We used the company I posted for a trip to Sun Moon Lake last summer. Good experience. When you get to Sun Moon Lake, if the group wants to split up, you can use the hotel shuttles or call in for a car or taxi for the day. There are also fairly easily available scooter rentals around the lake.
