Upon spotting our newest couple of moderators, I got to wondering - how is it decided when we need new mods, and who those mods should be? I mean, we’ve got fairly well explained systems for most other such processes here, what about the modship granting procedure?
And before the inevitable “witty” responses come, I’m serious here. I want to know.
Ultimately I choose the mods. Sometimes the people in question make it known to me that they wish to contribute, sometimes other mods give me suggestions. Recently I’ve tried to pick mods who “get it” - that is they understand what Forumosa is all about. Maybe I’ll talk more about this tomorrow, but I have a sore throat and need to go to bed.
