You are destroying the beauty of childhood if teaching after about 5pm

If any of you are qualified as teachers then I refer you back to ‘Retention’ levels something that the Taiwanese do not appear to be aware of.

If you have to do it then please allow the kids to have a laugh!

Your last point is key. It’s a broad statement to say that teaching after 5 destroys childhood, and I don’t think it’s true in all cases. There are plenty of students in Taiwan and elsewhere who are forced to devote themselves full-time to academic pursuits. For many, having that buxiban class with a fun teacher can be a high-point of their hectic week.
