Most Annoying Person on CNN

Followed by that wanker Jodie Foster and her “hmmm…now that’s a good question…”: inanity squared.

BARF

Of course, the question immediately preceding Jodie Foster’s comment was:

Larry Fucking King: “Welcome back to the show. So Jodie, please tell us your name”

DOUBLE BARF

(Mods: can we have a vomiting Smiley, please. Thanks.)

Jodie says, “My God, what a question!” doesn’t she?
I saw that interview. Larry had asked her something about a supposed ‘more-than-just-friends’ relationship with a woman.
She didn’t answer the question.

Flike: What’s wrong with Jodie Foster?

Yeah, I scrurried into the next room, to my TV and CNN, right after I wrote that, hoping to find that annoying (imo) commercial on screen and confirming my memory. I mean, it does seem to play ad infinitum.

It wasn’t playing (of course not…where’s Larry F King when you need him?), but I think your memory is better than mine.

Wanker is too strong, I retract it. Dull is more accurate, in my opinion.

I haven’t liked anything she’s done since Paper Moon, about a billion years ago. I know that’s contrary to many opinions, but I can’t help it. I found Silence of the Lambs rather more darkly, inadvertantly comedic than suspenseful (probably because I had read Harris’s novel first; in addition, my impression was, I think, due more to Hopkins’s Lector rather than Foster’s Starling). But really, she just doesn’t do a thing for me, and neither have any of her movies.

She seems to be a fine woman and a credit to her craft, though. I guess the buzz is that she’s gay, and if true then maybe that’s why I find her so thoroughly lacking in sex appeal (dull).

If I’ve offended you, or anyone else reading my post, I do apologize.

A good interviewer (unlike Larry F. King) would have followed up with something like “Oh, c’mon Jodie…admit you like muff-diving”

I have nothing against Jodie Foster; in fact I like her more when I can incorporate her into my while-watching-porno fantasies. Oh yes.

Not offended. Just surprised and curious. Seemed a bit strong, especially when we were talking about such nobs as chinoy, king and quest.

Quite. I’m afraid my perspective completely deserted me this morning!

Back on topic, then: Larry F. King ==> BARF

Richard Quest is nothing if not annoying, but he’s hilarious.

Soon after that blonde weather lady first came on, Jenny something, they were running a piece about dog attacks. To segue --ok link already, geez –into the weather, Quest goes, “and now Jenny something, who NEVER bites, with the weather…” “thank you richard” she said absolutely dead pan with a furious look, couldn’t stop laughing

but the winner is that american dwarf is it Aaron something, during that clinton lewinsky thing he was going on on a split screen with wolf blitzer about some aspect of the case as if it was the most important and interesting thing that had happened in years, Blitzer looked like he wanted to spit on him through the split screen wall, literally
