Tried KBN yet?
Aw, come ON, Dogma! Talk about giving someone too much choice! NOW what am I supposed to do?
or
Decision, decisions.
Get over there and get the two cute girls that work there to decide for ya.
I’m not really allowed to go near that area without the wife – its too close to ATB Music. She probably won’t kick up too much of a stink if I come home with a pair of NT$3,000 boots. It would be the new NT$60,000 guitar that would piss her RIGHT off.
Somewhere? Where? That’s my size. Think, man, THINK![/quote]
I’m pretty sure that at least one of them is about 2 metres up Bubba 2 Guns’ ass…
That mesh armour outfit looks quite good value if it IS 2,200. “I’m Spartacus. No I’M Spartacus!”

The armor mesh is great for summer riding, can be worn under all sorts of jackets when it’s cooler and provides decent protection when combined with a quality leather jacket. I paid around 8k for a Dainese in 06.
Also Sandman, I bought a pair of non-poofty Sigma full length boots for less than 4k. They fit and ride well. Flat black, with the basics and completely non-flashy.
OK, MJB, your “poofy” and mine are obviously calibrated to differing levels. But you, know, whatever makes you feel comfortable…
A bit OT, but talking of armour, they were selling off Northern Ireland police issue riot coveralls for about 30 quid when I was back in the UK, so they must think its all over.
Goretex, nomex and kevlar, water, fire and slash proof, with built in knee, elbow and shoulder protection.
Pretty good for the money, I thought, and not as poofy-looking as most motorcycle gear, but I reluctantly concluded they’d be too hot here most of the time, so I didn’t get any.
