What you see online, is not always indicative of what goes on in everyday life. The internet world can be a twisted sick world. I lived in Japan for a little while and dated 2 Japanese girls (both in their early twenties). They were normal, beautiful, and self respecting young women. They had career ambitions, were amazingly intelligent, and their sense of loyalty was stupefyingā¦never in any other relationship have I felt the loyalty that was felt in my Japanese relationships. Also, life in Japan, from what I saw, was pretty normal. No panty vending machines, no extremely short school uniform skirts, or any other things that have been talked about in this thread. OF course, I am not talking about Tokyo or any other major cityā¦I was in a small town in Mie prefecture.
Do these strange things go on? Yes ā as evidence of what you can see and hear about on the net. But they are not a part of ānormalā Japanese life. I will admit that the Japanese do some pretty strange things, but for the most part ā they are great people who have self respect and would be just as horrified as you or me in regards to these twisted fantasies.
I personally think this whole āschool girlā fetish is rather twisted and sick; both for the Japanese and for foreigners who buy into that junk. It may be a fantasy, but itās no excuse to harbor pedophilia desires.
