I am currently teaching in Korea, but Taiwan is my home and always will be. I just read an interesting article which states that the newest trend in Taiwan is “naked same-sex hot springs”. This sounds rather strange, considering what I know about Taiwanese and Chinese culture. Can anyone verify this? Where? What restrictions? Is it a nudist environment or adult-oriented (18+)?
I am not normally known for such an obvious brain fart. I apologise. I was reading same-sex but thinking something entirely different. I thought it meant both sexes nude public baths. For a moment I forgot what same-sex meant.
I am such an idiot. Wishful thinking really.
I am told that public baths were originally nude and shared by both men and women. It is only Western influence that has made us weary of such things.

Most hot springs are full of middle aged people and oldies anyway.
