Why do you need so many for? I use one pair for probably two years before it starts falling apart.
Earwax? But seriously…I find the effectiveness really starts to drop off after about a week or two.
Never noticed any issues/dirt with mine, in fact they only become soft and comfortable after a week of use I find.
The softer they get, the less effectively they block noise out.
