Name this pooch contest and poll!

:bravo:  I like it!

Awww… Tigerman is always so kind to me. Make sure you ask Truant for a kiss tonight, I told him to give you one for me.

:bravo:  I like it!
OK… IMAGINE I can’t speak Chinese… you know… just imagine for a minute. Can someone explain the joke? I’m sure it’s funny, but not knowing makes me, well… sad. :frowning:

香肉 (Xiang1rou4) is the elegant euphemism for dog meat as served by some evil restaurateurs. Literally, it means ā€œfragrant meatā€.

Thank you both.

Which one of you guys spelled xiang wrong in English??

How bout’ Jager it means Hunter in Danish (Kinda Ironic for a little guy, but cute.). You could call him Jag for short, which would still be easy to say while slurring. And if your truly and alcoholic than you could think of him as Jagermeister.

How about Sharon.

Looks like my ex…

Kerouac.

Goldfish. Fish for short.
I like naming dogs after food.

My dog’s name is 豆腐 (Dofu). If we ever find him a girlfriend, we will likely name her 豆花 (Dohua). The locals think that’s cute.

However, if we decide that we just want to shock the locals, our next dog will be named 香肉 (Xiangrou).
I laughed!! Dohua is just so cute!!!

Or 豆乾 Dogan? :sunglasses:

I usually name my dogs after how they act, not really on how they look.
Hows about ā€œHaystackā€?
