Nancy and Lee sing 'Jackson'; Right or Wrong?

Should Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood have sung ‘Jackson’?

  • Yes, bubblegum pop at its best!
  • No, it’s morally wrong on so many levels.

The foremost question in my mind, right now.

Thoughts?

should is a four letter word.

Good Lord BC…this thing is from my late teen years!

And it came WAY before ‘Bubble Gum’ music.
It was a ‘gimmick’ tune when done - Not Rock and Not Country. But strangely enough it got air time on both venues.

Catchy tune innit?

Catchy does not make it right, cowboy!

After I posted that…I had the bass guitar run from the Sintra/Hazelwood (he wrote it) collaboration "These Boots are Made for Walkin’ " going through my head for the rest of the night.

…/Start walkin’…

damn that is catchy… and Nancy was quite the looker back then too

Never heard this version, like Cash’s version better though.

Yes, but it can’t top “Some Velvet Morning.”
