đź“· National Palace Museum and Mongolian and Tibetan Cultural Center

Whenever I go somewhere, I always take pictures and put them on WeChat. I’ve put pictures of various scenic views in Keelung along with the Sun Yat-sen Memorial and Taroko National Park. I considered putting pictures of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial, but I didn’t want to spark any political conversations.

Anyway, I plan on going to the National Palace Museum and the Mongolian and Tibetan Cultural Center. I would imagine that a lot of my mainland friends would view the artifacts in the National Palace Museum as stolen, and the other place has Tibet in the name. Should I refrain from posting pictures of these places there?

No. The artifacts themselves are a source of pride for all of the sons and daughters of the motherland. The name “Tibet” is still used in China and is not a problem in itself. Also, if they cry you can just say “Baby! Baby!”
