Those are the nutters campaigning for Germany to give good value to all the old Deutschmark the KMT are holding. I forget, is it the KMT holding them?

More like some private people who bought/hold some kind of second world war bonds that are worthless by now. They use the Nazi flag to get attention.

The group has more than 300 members, but I can only really see one old man doing the protesting.
What are they saying here exactly it’s a bit ambigous.
They say they are owed money ? If they want the money their grandfather’s had, back from the present day German government then it’s probably better not to wave the Nazi flag or is that to attract attention?

Do they have any justification ? I think many of the KMT officers were German trained and paid. I don’t understand this well enough but it’s definitely got my curiosity.
So is this correct ? At that time the German currency was backed by a gold standard , but this was like a bond given by the German government guaranteed with a gold standard ?

From the Chinese article below I understand that after World War I Germany paid Japan reparations in form of promissory notes that were then sold by Japan to Taiwanese people. In 2010 Germany announced that all depts were paid, and Japan announced that they would not pay for those promissory notes either. I wonder how much money they think those notes are worth.
