Went to National Taiwan Museum’s Railway Department Park 國立臺灣博物館鐵道部 today, well worth the trip and definitely worth the 100 NTD entrance fee. Nice architecture and interesting railway history. Too many kids in the cafeteria so I decided not to disturb them and had lunch at Astoria instead, great decision.

Small, but fine way to kill some time. Not much to do but walk and look at some displays, nice historical building, a couple places for a snack or coffee but not really a hang out drink coffee place. Few minute walk from MRT exits.
This museum can be very entertaining for kids
Is very interesting to see the history of the trains in Taiwan and also see how the train tickets are printed
There is a train show every hour , many people like to see the small trains moving
