A Canadian english teacher holding an APRC is advertising himself on Craigslist taiwan for 350nt$ / hour!
When I first went to taiwan, the hourly rate was above 800nt$ and most of my teachers’ friends were taking 1000nt$\h.
Few years later that number went to 600nt$ and now in 2015 it’s breaking the 400nt$!
With the us$ going up, I don’t really see any reasons for teaching English in Taiwan anymore…
