Nciku

What’s y’all’s opinion of the http://www.nciku.com/ website?
Also, what’s the generally accepted term in Taiwan for a morning market?
nciku gives 早市 [zǎoshì], and 晓市 [xiǎoshì].
Google language tools, which I trust with a huge grain of salt, also says 早市.

Looks fun. Making my ancient Mac whizz and whirr, though…

It’s convenient.

Nciku’s Handwrite Characters function, or handwriting recognition tool, is brilliant!
I wrote about it on my blog:

I still use Mdbg.net more often though.

It’s very nice, but for some reason the audio doesn’t work for me on my computer.

I’m pretty sure I have all the proper plugins, as I don’t have problems with the audio on other sites, but when I the button to play it, I get nothing.

This site is really growing on me. It remembers all your searches, which can be printed out for review. I like!
