Sorry it was 1936/37, i always get those dates wrong. The Thai police opened a contract with Mauser in Germany to purchase an initial 300 Lugers. They also bought the lP. 08 pistol, which is called the “Artillery Luger”. I was able to pick up one of these and am in the process of trying to prove it’s authentic. Now i need to try and talk to a Thai police historian and look at it from that angle
