Hi, must leave for HK in a few hours and just realized I might have (errrr) overseen one thing … Do one need to present a bank statement along with your application for a 30 day non extend-able tourist visa to Taiwan ?

A bank book will be sufficient…even if its two months old…its a criteria they must check…so…or a credit card…or cash…maybe 400 US…or be a smooth talker and say payday is next week…but that could backfire on you…
In Vancouver, when Tw shut the border to Canadians, I was completely upfront about my situation and the TECO there really tried to help…
