New Business Announcement - Visa & Business & IT Help

Our company’s mission in Taiwan is serving the expat and foreigner community. Just like Forumosa.

We’re focused on visa, immigration, tax help for people living, working and visiting Taiwan. Because our staff is fluent in English, Chinese and Taiwanese we can be the ombudsman for pretty much any kind of issue that requires help dealing with locals, businesses, and the government. We also will help Taiwanese people interested in going to the US for work or study. Emailing and talking to us doesn’t cost a thing. We’re here to help.

The other part of our business is geared toward business, project and technology consulting. That includes business startup issues, project execution, corporate training and coaching programs. On the IT side, from MIS support to IT infrastructure to project management, we’re able to do it.

We also work closely with other Forumosans to give you the right service and advice. If we don’t serve and assist each other, who will?

Check us out and drop us a line.

Thanks.

Hope you folks are licensed as a legal immigration business here. The fines are pretty steep if you aren’t. b

Thanks Feiren. Yes, we’ve got ourselves covered.

Hi,
I am a foreigner looking to start a business in Taiwan and do not know the legalities. Can a foreigner open a business in Taiwan or must they have a Taiwanese partner? Does this also depend on what kind of visa I have? Do you offer any free consultations?
Any information would be very helpful. Thank you.
Sincerely,
S.T.

Hi S.T.

Yes, foreigners can start their own business in Taiwan. Depending on the business a foreigner wants to open, there are different licensing requirements for different industries. Buxiban ownership would require involvement of a Taiwanese citizen. Many do not. Many foreigner owners however will involve a Taiwanese citizen because they believe it will help their business.

Feel free to email us at info@ml-mclean.com or call us to schedule a consultation on starting up a business in Taiwan. This type of consultation is not free.

Regards,

Just wanted to give thanks to our customers and supporters in the community as 2005 draws to a close.
