They seem like a great deal. I can see myself buying one of these at work instead of a G5 tower. It has reached the point now where I could actually see myself buying both an Apple desktop and laptop for the price of what I would paid before for one.
What I don’t like about the new iMac’s is that seem to lack personality. They are so minimalist that they seem boring. Totally ‘uncute’.
You think? I like the fact they are similar to the new Apple displays… Personally I am not a fan of the cute Apple stuff. The ibook is cute but the powerbook isnt - its minimalist and functional looking.
I havent bought an iPod yet as they look too cute… when they make one in black I am sold! 
But yes, the new iMac will be (hopefully) hitting my home office ASAP.
Are these babies available in Taiwan yet?
I wonder if we will see these here before January. I need a new iMac for a project and would much rather have the new model versus the old. A G5 tower is just too much of an expense. I guess the only way to get one of these in Taiwan by the end of the month is to hijack one the delivery trucks en-route to the airport.
