New measurements

Don’t people know inches, millimeters or centimeters any more? Or is it that the use of creditcards is so widespread that they give now measurements in credit card width? :s

Was this quote from an American ? Just wondering…

Beats the hell out of using cubits.

I thought this thread was going to be about willy size again.

Me thinks that thou doest ponder too much.
Apologies to my Shakspearian friends

This American is a solid convert to metric. The fence on the table saw at the firm I worked at in the UK was metric, and we used millimeters for every dimension: no more of that stupid adding up fractions I had to do before. Too bad the Brits don’t get with the program and stop using miles and mph though… very inconsistent.

Well you gotta remember that Louisiana is French. So people get confused if they need to be American or use metric…
In this time of political turmoil he was just playing it safe by using neither !! Smart man!!
