Welcome aboard, Jen. Glad to hear people are talking about the website.

I’m from Vancouver, but I’m now in Taoyuan and Taipei.
Hope you’re enjoying in Vancouver. Where are you studying?

Cheers,
J.

Welcome Jen.

Wish you all the best in your studies. It’s always refreshing when someone takes the time to introduce themselves.

Welcome.

Tell us about your studies and what you got out of it and enjoyed the most.

Welcome. I like your avatar. Vanessa is going to be my next mistress, once I tire of Kate Hudson. She’s going to have to lose the fiddle, though.

I’ve been a member for a long time now. My friends have always called me a member.

Welcome, Jen.

Yes Jen, just don’t forget that Stray Dog’s a country member. (Apologies to the Irish git for pilfering his line).

But I’m confused – are you living in Vancouver right now or in Taipei? If you are in Taipei, why don’t you come along to our Happy Hour at Carnegies on Tuesday Sept. 13 at 8 pm? Several Forumosans are from Vancouver, including one lady who is very nice if you can get her to take the Corona bottle out of her face for just one second.

A big warm WELCOME from this M0NSTAH.

Well, I wish I has a new member

Welcome to Forumosa. :rainbow:

Welcome, and good luck with the Canada thing!

I have bad luck now. No more trip. Too many money. :raspberry: Canada is very much expensive.

Thank you for your welcomes.

Nevermind. Hope you can work hard and save lots of money then try again really soon.

Oops, I thought that avatar was really Jen. Kind of disappointed now :frowning:. Not in a lesbian kind of way (yall know 914’s my man), but, you know… I don’t know…

Welcome, Jen!

welcome Jen. I’ve been in Taipei for about a year and have found Forumosa to be great bunch of people. Just about everyone’s willing to help with all sorts of things.

btw, there’s a women only forum. You can find the link at bottom of the page. I’m sure you’ll find very welcoming women there if you ever need someone to listen.

do you like violin Jen? Maybe you can offer some recommedations. I like Heifetz and Milstein. And definitely Perlman on the Hero soundtrack.

I can think of a number of posters that would love to “introduce” her to their “member”. :smiling_imp:

Sorry, did I go too far?

Welcome Jen,

I am another member from Vancouver. I have yet to be ostracized from this community but I expect that to happen any day now.

Cheers,

JEP

Vancouver here.

Maybe next time, Jen. Maybe next time. Guess right now ain’t the time to say how wonderful Vancouver is.

It’s dirty and cold. You’d hate it there.
