Kbro came around today and upgraded our set top box (STB) and the new model has both HDMI and component video and it’s meant to support HD video and Dolby Digital sound.
Only problem is that Kbro doesn’t do HD broadcasts. Does any of the cable providers here have HD programming or is this still years off in Taiwan?

I have no idea what their roadmap plans are, but if they upgraded the hardware it seems it could be around in the not so distant future.
But what would there be to watch in HD? Star World?
Those crazy Japanese game shows would be pretty funny actually.
Anything would be a good start 
Right now most of the stuff looks even worse via HDMI than it did via S-Video on the old box, hence why I’m wondering if anyone knew about HD being an option coming soon…
