New year's resolution

You will see…
So, what’s yours?

To really take this Power of Positive thinking seriously, because at 33 I 've got to change my life :bravo:

I resolve to expose myself in Alleycat’s.

To break through to awesome success in many areas of my life.

To be a better father to my son and my son that is on the way in May 2005.

To have more time and more money.

To have a prosperous life, not just financially, but in each and every area. Emotionally, physically, financially, relationally…etc

To eat more fiber.

who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children;
who has filled his niche and accomplished his task;
who leaves the world better than he found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul;
who never lacked appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it;
who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had.”

Get drunk.

Get laid.

Not necessarily in that order.

Quit smoking… for the thirteenth year in a row. :blush:

To log onto Forumosa only once a day.

To see out the next year until I need another resolution.

Watch less late-night TV and get to bed earlier. (The rest should take care of itself.)

:bravo: Great quote, YC. :bravo:

Words to ponder–and live by.

Too right!

Round up the usual suspects; drink less, exercise more, lose weight, sweat less, and leave Taiwan!

Does that mean you will “flash” the patrons on New Year’s Eve? :astonished:

To actually try and learn Chinese. It’s pathetic how long I have been here and I hardly know anything. I’ve taken to telling people that I just arrived last week

I also think my New Year’s resolution will be to wrok hard on my Chinese (for the first time in years), and also to try and learn Taiwanese properly.

Does that mean you will “flash” the patrons on New Year’s Eve? :astonished:[/quote]

If he meant “shall” flash, then doesn’t that qualify as a Forumosa Event? :wink:

I will be more frugal. That means no more daily McDonalds breakfast and Starbucks coffee.
I will sever all ties with the Bamboo Union and get them to return my blender.
I will become outraged more often.

To stop using cheats and hacks on my computer games (yeah, right)
To learn Chinese formally so I can finally talk to grown-ups
To take up learning guitar again
To actually stick to the budgets I set for myself
To stop talking about my non-existent love life…so much
